Faith Evans is a well known singer who has the ability of combining the music from genres like soul, R&B, and hip hop soul together. Besides being a well known singer Faith Evans is also songwriter, record producer, author and actress. Faith was born in Lakeland, Florida but she grew up in Newark, New Jersey. The next song of Faith’s which received another award was “Heartbreak Hotel”. This song was a collaborated effort by Faith Evans, Whitney Houston and Kelly Price. The album Keeping the Faith which was a solo effort by Faith Evans was released in 1998. From 2004 onwards Faith Evans who was working under a new record label released her 4^th studio album, The First Lady.
