Rap Music

Of the many styles of music that can be heard rap music is one which seems to be infiltrating every strata of music. The barriers of language cannot be seen even as you hear singers from various other countries placing rap into their songs. While you will not hear of many people talking about this style of music in the way they might talk about classical or rock music you can be assured that nonetheless rap music has come into our lives.
Some of the artists who have made this style of music so popular are artistes like Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and 50 cent to name but a few. When these artistes sing using the rapping style they make a statement. This statement can be heard because it touches on what is happening in our lives right now.
You can hear the rhythmic melding of each word and the music which provides the background brings out these rhythmic words even more. As you listen to the words you will begin to hear how each singer incorporates their style of rapping and ideas into the music. One example is that of MC Hammer. This popular singer gives his musical words a four beat syllables. This is not the only style you will hear in rap music.
In the world of rapping the styles for the most part that you will hear are “The Rubik’s Cube” which is used by artistes and groups like The Roots, Lauryn Hill, Nas and others. You will hear styles like “The Chant” which are the styles used by Project Pat and Lil Jon. Scarface, KRS-One, 2 Pac and Melle Mel use the “Straight Forward”style. Percussion-effusive style rapping is used by B-Real from the Cypress Hill group.
Too Short, the Beastie Boys and others singers use the “Sung Rhythmic Style”. The “Syncopated Bounce” can be heard in the songs from Twista and the Bone Thugs N Harmony. The final style you will currently hear being used is that of the “Speech-effusive style” which is used by the group Big Pun.
These are the people and groups who have given us this style of music we can hear in so many musical variations the world over. While you may not understand the popularity of rapping you can’t deny that the fantastic style and rhythm will bring the sounds and words in this form of music alive and pulsating in our blood.
